A Place for teen moms: 750,000 Teens Become pregnant each year.  Generation Her is doing something about it.

We offer a weekly life skills program for teen mothers and pregnant teens. Generation Her encourages setting educational and career goals for each teen mom and walks beside them to accomplish their goals as well as to provide a safe place of encouragement, hope and support through mentors and their fellow community of teenage mothers. Generation Her encourages independence through teaching life skill classes such as; budgeting, money management, job interviewing skills, resume building, cooking, self defense, nutrition, stress and anger management, relationship workshops and so much more. Generation Her is not only changing lives in the world of teen moms, it is also changing the community. The impact of a girl who will not stay on welfare throughout her lifetime and who is going to give her and her child a brighter future leads to a better economy and society.

66% of teen moms NEVER graduate High School,

while 100% of Generation Her teen moms are graduating.

Special Announcements

Generation Her Mom of the Month:

Meet Ericka

My little boy Jayden was

born on July 8 2011. He

weighed 9lbs 7oz and

measured almost 22 inches!

I enrolled in school when

I was just 4 months

pregnant at Concorde

Career College for Medical

Assisting. I took two months off in late june to have the baby and be with him in the beginning. Then I went back and gave school my all for my little man.  I finished with a 4.0 GPA and perfect attendance.   This helped me land my externship at UCI Cardiovascular, where I learned a lot of great skills.  I graduated from school November 29th and in February I landed a job with a Private Physician.  This is a great career and it allows me to care for my son.  I plan on going back to school to further my career and become a nurse one day. I know now there is a bright future ahead of me and I owe it all to God, my son, and my family.”
